Which type of LCD module do you need?

We offer a comprehensive range of both Character and Graphic LCD modules from a number of key manufacturing partners. Our LCD Application Support section gives information about parameters that need to be considered when designing modules into an electronic system. Other downloads include datasheets showing the effect of various backlighting options and manufacturer data on driver ICs.

If you are unable to select a suitable display from our range of standard modules we have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of both custom LCD glass and LCD Modules using PCB, COG and TAB technology.

Developing a custom solution gives your product a unique presence and will ensure that you can create the most effective user interface. You can incorporate static icons, dot matrix or character areas and apply backlighting colours and polarisers to compliment your overall product design.

Diamond HMI will offer overall design advice, including interfacing to your electronics. We prepare mechanical drawings and support designers to create appropriate firmware.

It is possible to create a custom solution for any production volumes however experience suggests that realistic economic volumes start at 500-1000 pieces.
