Winstar latest small format TFT is an ideal upgrade solution for 16 x 2 & 20 x 2 Character LCD Modules. In particular, it is a near drop in solution to replace their own WH1602L1 module since both two items have a similar outline dimension of 122.0 x 44.0 mm (PCB outline).
WF39QTIBSDBG0 is a new version of 3.9″ WF39B Bar TFT-LCD display built in with SSD1963 controller board plus a 36 pin-out connector. WF39QTIBSDBG0 has a resolution of 480×128 pixels and has a PCAP touch screen. The device supports digital 8080 family MPU 8bit/16bit interface and the capacitive touch panel uses the CYTMA568 controller. Fo easy integration Winstar has defined pins 33 ~ 36 as backlight supply on the SSD1963 controller board so there is no need to design additional backlight circuitry. The WF39Q’s backlight brighness is 400 nits and has a contrast ratio of 500:1.
