WG12864E is a monochrome LCD module 128x64 dot matrix graphic display.  WG12864E model is built in with NT7108 controller or equivalent IC; it supports 6800 8-bit parallel interface.  The WG12864E LCD display is 5V power supply and only available for EL backlight.  WG12864E type is having 4 icons on LCD; it’s built in negative voltage and EL inverter on module.  If you would like to use LED backlight, please choose WG12864E1, but please note the outline of WG12864E1 is 50 x 50 mm; it’s a little larger than WG12864E type.  There is another option for customers, if you would like to use LED backlight also without 4 icons on LCD; please choose WG12864EP2.  The outline of WG12864EP2 is 55x60 mm; it’s larger than WG12864E (54x50mm) and WG12864E1 (55x50mm).
